Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos and his ministers are evaluating progress made in the government’s first 100 days in office.
Santos and his cabinet retreated to the presidential ranch Hatogrande on Thursday to begin a two-day review of what has been achieved by the government so far.
“In an effort to improve their work and to discuss the effectiveness and the course taken, the national government today began the first session of a large workshop, in which the progress of their plans in the first ten days are reviewed,” Press Secretary Adriana Vargas told journalists.
According to the President’s Office spokeswoman, the government “is studying the definition of sectoral strategies and the implementation of a public management plan using performance indicators to measure if goals of each of the entities is reached.”
Santos took office on August 7.
