by Hannah Aronowitz April 4, 2011

colombia news - eln

Suspected ELN members burned a bus Sunday belonging to the Cooperative Steel Transporters (COOTRACERO) in the east Colombian Boyaca department, Caracol Radio reported Sunday.

The terrorist act was committed by four men who stopped the vehicle and forced four men out before burning it.

The vehicle had been coming from Sogamoso city, where COOTRACERO is headquartered, covering the route between Labranzagrande and Paya, according to the commander of the Army’s 16th Brigade, Colonel Rafael Forero Gomez.

The 16th Brigade, which has jurisdiction in the mountainous area known for its ELN and FARC presence, will continue to pursue the actors of this crime.
