Acclaimed Spanish singer Raphael will perform his latest album, “Te llevo en my corazon” (“I Carry You in My Heart”) in Cali and other Colombian cities in late March, newspaper El Espectador reported Friday.

Miguel Raphael Martos Sanchez has been entertaining crowds since the 1970s with his wide-ranging voice and musical showmanship. He gained popularity in Latin America by recording Latin American folk classics such as “Huapango torero,” “Sandunga,” and “Llorona.”

His latest album, which was released last year, pays homage to Latin America with 40 songs on a 3-disc compilation including musical styles such as bolero, tango and ranchera. Raphael travelled the world to record the album with musicians in Buenos Aires, Mexico and Madrid. He admits this has been the most ambitious and costly project of his career.

Colombian fans will be able to enjoy Raphael’s concerts on March 23 in Bogota, March 25 in Cali, March 26 in Medellin and March 27 in Manizales.
