Spanish airline Iberia will increase flight frequency on its Madrid-Bogota route, reported newspaper Aeronoticias Thursday.

Iberia will now offer two flights daily between the Spanish and Colombian capitals, affirmed the airline’s director of corporate affairs, Manuel Lopez Colmer.

Air traffic between the two nations has grown by 12 percent in 2010, making Colombia Iberia’s third most popular long-distance route.
