Colombian darling Sofia Vergara was the highest paid actress on television over the past year, earning $19 million, according to Forbes Magazine.
While she certainly made big bank for her role in the ABC sitcom, “Modern Family,” she can thank her entrepreneurial spirit for topping the list. Vergara has her own clothing line with U.S.-based discount chain, Kmart. She also runs a marketing and production company called Latin World Entertainment, a company she co-founded in 1996.
On top of her endorsement deals with Diet Pepsi and makeup giant Cover Girl, the 40-year-old bombshell appeared in three movies, “The Smurfs,” “New Year’s Eve” and “The Three Stooges” over the last year.
Vergara beat out reality diva Kim Kardashian, to head the Forbes List.
