Soccer star and Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao became the new face of multinational bank BBVA in Colombia Friday.
The bank will use Falcao’s image for various advertising campaigns throughout the country.
“Falcao has talent, discipline, effort, teamwork, youth, transparency and simplicity, values that we fully identify with and that is why the decision was made to link Falcao’s image with the BBVA brand,” said Oscar Cabrera Izquierdo.
Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos congratulated the young phenom Thursday for his two goal contribution to Atletico Madrid’s 3-0 win over Spanish rival Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League final, held in Romania Wednesday.
Falcao was declared the greatest signing by a Spanish club in the 21st century May 1 by Spanish sports news provider Marca.
