Shakira unveils live performance from Paris (video)

by Simon Edwards November 3, 2011

Colombian News - Shakira

Colombian pint-sized pop princess Shakira unveiled Thursday the first video from new album “Shakira, Live from Paris”.

The video for the latest single “Antes de las Seis” (Before Six) was filmed during a live performance at the Palais de Bercy in Paris, during her international “Sale el Sol” (The Sun Comes Out) tour.

The video shows the Colombian singer alone at the front of the stage in a long blue dress, with her famous blonde locks lose over her shoulders. As the ballad reaches its climax snow begins falls around the Barranquila native who delivers a strong, heartfelt performance in front of a huge, enthusiastic crowd.

The song was written and produced in collaboration with Lester Mendez, who also worked on previous hits “Underneath Your Clothes” and “La Tortura” (Torture).

The song and video will be included as part of the singer’s special edition CD/DVD which will be released internationally on November 6.
