Shakira spotted with ex in France

by Tom Heyden January 24, 2011

Colombia news - Shakira

In their first public appearance together since announcing the end of their romantic relationship, Colombian singer Shakira traveled with her ex-boyfriend Antonio de la Rua to the NRJ awards ceremony in France, reports El Tiempo.

Shakira had previously explained that she would continue her professional relationship with the Argentine, who is also her manager.

The pair attended the NRJ Music Awards, January 22, in the southern French city of Cannes, where the Colombian superstar won the “Best International Song of the Year” for her worldwide hit “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).”

The artist was also named “Best International Female Artist of the Year,” fending off competition from the likes of Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Katy Perry.
