MTV says Shakira to pose for Playboy, singer ‘denies’

by Julia Myska May 27, 2013

MTV Latin America claimed Colombia pop star Shakira had agreed to pose in men’s magazine Playboy, a claim the singer reportedly denied.

The Colombian singer reportedly called this news “absolutely false” on her twitter account. However, the reported tweet could not be verified as it did not appear on the Singer’s Twitter account on Monday.

According to Colombian media, Shakira told her fans to “get used to it, guys. You already know that something new is invented every week.”

According to MTV, the payment of 50 million dollars was earmarked to strengthen the finances of Shakira’s foundation “Pies Descalzos,” which has been building schools for underprivileged children in Colombia. It was further reported that the singer, who recently gave birth to her first child would not undress completely.
