The hotel is built on the former site of the Hotel Bacata, which stood at the heart of Bogota for 50 years and was known for playing host to underground parties as well as its artistic scene. The hotel is still under construction and has initially made 101 rooms available to customers.
The hotel was decorated with an avant-garde flair and many of the rooms feature antique telephones which have been converted into lamps and other artistic touches.
The hotel currently features two restaurants, a bar, and three conference rooms for special events. The hotel plans to add a health spa, a disco on the top floor and two more conference rooms.
