Monica Fonseca splits from hubby

by Hannah Aronowitz January 20, 2011

Colombia News - monica fonseca

After less than a year of marriage, Colombian TV presenter and model Monica Fonseca separates from her husband, Mexican actor Marck Tacher, reported newspaper El Tiempo Thursday.

The beautiful couple, beloved by the media, met in 2009 and were married with great fanfare after a short courtship.

Sources close to the couple say the split was caused by their differing desire: he wanted a traditional wife and to start a family in Mexcio, and Fonseca prioritized her career and often traveled to Colombia for work.

“I cannot say whether there will be a reconciliation or whether the separation will be eternal,” the TV presenter said to the newspaper.
