Miss Colombia 2007, Taliana Vargas, will lead the promotion of national modeling contest Chica Miércoles! 2012.
Chica Miércoles! is a competition to find the new face of Miercoles!, a magazine section of national newspaper El Heraldo and “is a platform for the projection of the most talented women in the Caribbean, according to the publication.
Vargas, who holds the title of Miss Universe 2008 first runner-up, will also be on the judging panel for the contest.
Previous judges have included the internationally-known actress Sofía Vergara, who hosted the competition in 1999.
