In the Miami International Airport, a new 82 foot wide mural titled “A Journey of Success” honors 100 Latin American professionals from Nicaragua, Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Mexico, and of course Colombia, reported CM& La Noticia Friday.

The mural showcases 20 Colombians which includes Univision newscaster Llia Caldero, graffic designer Monica Yepes, horse trainer Jaime Escudero, journalist Enrique Cordoba, designer Silvia Tcherassi, ex-soccer star Luis Carlos Perea, journalist Isaac Lee, composer Kike Santander, chef Ingrid Hoffman, singer Jorge Villamizar, and writer Juan Carlos Botero.

The Miami Airport Division of Fine Arts and Cultural Affairs presents the mural as part of their “100 Latinos/Hispanos Miami,” project that recognizes a group of individuals from a variety of professional backgrounds and age groups in the South Florida area and who, by virtue of their talent and success, contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of the region.

“100 Latinos/Hispanos is an homage to all those who strive to make their dreams come true,” cites the Miami Airport website.
