Manizales gears up for their sixth year of celebrating Colombian rock music at the “Grita Rock” 2011 music festival.
During the second weekend in August, more than 10,000 people will be arriving in Manizales to enjoy three nights of rock music. The festival, held at Los Vientos del Ecoparque Los Yarumos, will start on Friday and last until late into the night on Sunday. This year’s event promises a line-up of 32 bands, including five international bands, as well as many national and local groups, ranging from reggae rock to metal and ska.
