An earthquake measuring 4.7 magnitude shook the northern Colombian department of Santander on Monday.
The earthquake struck at noon during the holiday although no casualties or property damage has yet been reported.
Director of the office of risk management, Carlos Ivan Marquez, revealed that the quake, which centred 6.74 miles south west of Los Santos, was felt in the cities of Bucaramanga, Floridablanca, Velez and Lebrija.
This latest incident comes two days after a 4.1 magnitude earthquake hit the city of Cucuta.
