Juanes said Nicola Suarez, the only Colombian participant in the Univision competition Nuestra Belleza Latina, is “gorgeous” and knows she “is going to win” reported People en Español Wednesday.

The 37-year-old rock star recorded a message of support which he shared with the magazine People en Español and he asked the viewers of Nuestra Belleza Latina to vote for his fellow countrywoman.

“Nicole, Hi, How are you? It’s Juanes and I wish you lots of luck in this competition … All my love. You’re gorgeous and I know you are going to win. Lots of luck.”

No Colombian has so far taken the crown in the Univision competition which has been running since 2007 although Colombia’s Carolina Ramirez was 2010 runner-up. The singer believes that his dream of a compatriot being chosen to win will become a reality.

From the start of the competition, Nicole Suarez, who last year participated to be Miss Colombia, has already won the heart of the judges and of her competitors. Now her big dream is to win the hearts of the public.
