Juanes on Tuesday announced the first leg of a North American tour that will take the Colombian singer up through the United States to Canada.
The first stop on Juanes’ “Loud and Unplugged” tour will be in San Diego on May 26. After that, it’s off to Dallas, Toronto, Montreal and Philadelphia, reports local media.
Additional metropolitan cities across the United States are expected to be added to the tour, though exact dates have yet to be confirmed.
The “Loud and Unplugged” tour was announced after the recent release of Juanes’ live MTV “Unplugged” album. Award ceremonies in Las Vegas and Puerto Rico celebrating the album’s gold status will be held prior to the Latin Grammy Awards. After the Grammys, Juanes will perform with Dominican singer/songwriter, Juan Luis Guerra. Proceeds from the concert will go to Hurricane Sandy disaster relief.
