by Simon Willis December 12, 2012

Colombia’s hip-hop group, Chocquibtown, will headline a concert in Medellin to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of local television channel, Telemedellin.

The group, who come from Quibdo in the Choco department in western Colombia, will play the last set at the concert which will be held at Parque De Los Pies Descalzos on December 13.

Chocquibtown are multiple Latin Grammy Award winners. They also received a Grammy nomination for Best Latin Rock, Alternative or Urban Album for their album ‘Oro’ in 2011.

They will be supported by upcoming group Systema Solar, hip-hop artists Crew Peligrosos and the jazz outfit, Puerto Candelaria.

Gates are set to open at 6PM and the good news is there is no entrance fee.
