Colombia striker Radamel Falcao insisted Monday that he is happy at Atletico Madrid and has no intention of leaving despite persistent rumors about his future.
The in-form front man is a highly sought after commodity in Europe as he is recognized as one of the few remaining quality out-and-out front men in the game.
His goal scoring record speaks for itself with another strike in La Liga last weekend taking his run of scoring in consecutive games to 10 for club and country.
Falcao’s form has been so good that European soccer giants Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been linked with making a move for the 26-year old.
However, the recently nominated Ballon d’Or candidate revealed in an interview with PuntoPelota TV program that Atletico is his “only reality”
“I do not think of leaving at this time. I never think that it is the time want to leave Atletico Madrid now. I think about playing this season and hope that things go well.,” he said.
“Atletico Madrid is my only reality. I have three year contract.
“I do not know what I will do tomorrow but I’m happy here, enjoying the present with the club. Maybe after the appropriate people at the club will decide what will be my future.”
