Colombia News - arrested, hand cuffs

Colombian officials capture “El Flaco,” a high ranking member of the ELN responsible for the security of one of the guerrilla group’s top commanders.

Alirio Antonio, alias “El Flaco” or “Jorge,” or was captured Friday in the department of Valle del Cauca in the west of the country, reports El Tiempo.

El Flaco is allegedly in the first ring of security for ELN leader “Fabian,” who heads the group’s Western Bloc.

Security forces found the guerrilla on a property in Cartago, Valle del Cauca. Among his possessions the security forces found 148 rounds of different caliber ammunition, a fragmentation grenade, a 12 gauge shotgun, a computer, and two Colombian military uniforms.
