Colombian soccer players ‘enjoy Chilean brothel’

by Esteban Refshauge September 14, 2012

The captain of Colombia’s soccer team visited a Santiago brothel with eight of his teammates, reported Chilean newspaper La Cuarta Friday. According to Colombia’s goalkeeper, the alleged visit was a “trap.”

Colombian Captain Mario Alberto Yepes allegedly visited the Platinum Club in Santiago, a high-end Chilean whorehouse, with fellow soccer stars Dorlan Pabon and Faryd Mondragon.

Upon spotting paparazzi filming the group leaving the club, Mondragon tried to convince the voyeurs to surrender the video footage but was unsurprisingly turned down.

While not denying he had visited the club, Mondragon claimed he was simply there to “have a beer.”

“We were not doing anything wrong and had the permission of the coaching staff,” he said.

Mondragon even speculated the night’s events may have been part of a diliberate attempt to tarnish the reputation of the team by the Chilean media. “It was all a trap”, he protested.

According to travel blogs, patrons of the Platinum Club can procure the talents of a voluptuous chica for no less than $300.

The embarrassing allegations surfaced just days after Colombia secured a stunning 3-1 victory against Chile in their quest to compete in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
