A firm specialized in football finance has created a suggestion for an ideal line up with the biggest transfers this season, a line up that includes James Rodriguez.
The Colombian James has with his $103 million transfer made the top of the list of the transfer window’s most expensive players, according to El Tiempo Tuesday.
Only Barcelona’s $104,7 million purchase of Uruguayan Luis Suarez exceeds the Colombian’s transfer sum.
The remaining part of top five dominated heavily by South Americans, Brazilian David Luiz’s transfer to Paris Saint Germain reached third place in most expensive with $63.97 million, former Brazilian, now Spanish citizen Diego Costa, was sold to British club Chelsea for $49,12 million, and last in top five Chilean Alexis Sanchez departure to Arsenal worth $48,87 million.
James’ transfer to Real Madrid occurred after the midfielder became the most scoring player in World Cup 2014, and subsequent to his performances in the French league with Monaco.

Fans demand refunds
Though Rodriguez’s arrival in Real Madrid is not a welcomed change for every football fan. Fans were disappointed after both James and new Manchester United loan Radamel Falcao left French football club AS Monaco, according to British online sport news site Bleacher Report.
On the team’s website a fan wrote a post suggesting that fans demand a refund for their season tickets, which prices had increased before the season.
With no substantial transfers to substitute the Colombians departure fans are considering staying away from the clubs matches.
