by Toni Peters April 4, 2012

Juan Carlos Echeverry

Colombia’s Finance Minister said measures to control the national currency are “being evaluated,” amid concern about the exchange rate, reports financial publication Dinero.

Juan Carlos Echeverry said the echange rate of the Colombian Peso is an issue that is constantly under evaluation but no decisions have yet been made.

Echeverry has previously stated his advocacy of an aggresive curreny control strategy.
