C Reps - Dangond

Colombian singer Silvestre Dangond has released a special Valentine’s Day video for his hit song “La Gringa” (The Foreign Girl), local media reported Tuesday.

“La Gringa” tells the story of its composer, Isaac Calvo’s internet relationship with a beautiful lover from a foreign country. The new video feature’s Dangond’s romantic dream of showing his gringa around Colombia.

They dance and cuddle their way through the beautiful countryside, meeting indigenous tribes and eating traditional foods. The video was filmed over three days in an indigenous village in the Wayuu Manaure Tayronaka Park, in Valledupar, and in San Juan del Cesar.

The original song and video was released on Dangond’s newest album “No Me Compares Con Nadie” (Don’t Compare Me With Anyone) in November 2011.
