Colombian soccer player Radamel Falcao was rated the fifth best player in Europe by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

Falcao, who plays the striker position, was rated above Wayne Roodey and Zlatan Ibrahamovic of Manchester United. The top player will be selected from the top three by journalists in Monaco on August 25.

Falcao was born in Santa Marta in northern Colombia and is commonly regarded as one of the best strikers in the world. He set the European league record of scoring 17 goals in a season and currently plays for Porta in the Portuguese league.
