Colombian peso update – Friday March 9

Peso

The Colombian peso strengthened against the dollar for the third consecutive day with one dollar closing at 1,762.6 compared to 1,764.5 the day before.

According to Dow Jones, the peso´s rally was tempered by the release of the U.S. payrolls report which contained beneficial data which bolstered the dollar. The peso closed at its highest level since July.
