Colombia pop and folk sensation Juan Fernando Fonseca premiered Thursday the new music video for his hit single “Desde Que Tu No Estas” (Since You’ve Been Gone).

The music video was recorded in Cabe de la Vela, Guajira under the direction of Argentine filmmaker Pix Talarico, who has worked with the Colombian star before on multiple occasions.

With wind in his hair and the ocean at his back, Fonseca sings of his broken heart, “Since you left, since you’ve been gone, everything is bitterness, everything is loneliness. I don’t have tears to cry, I am just a sad soul wherever I go.”

The song is the first on his new album “Illusion” which was launched at the end of September, and sold more than 70,000 copies in Colombia, according to Sony Music.

This is Fonseca’s fourth album but the first made with Sony Music, who have launched him into a world of popularity fueled by his presence and promotion in social networks such as Twitter and Facebook.
