Colombian artist Foncesca debuted the music video for his latest single “Eres mi Sueño” (You’re my Dream) Wednesday.
The track is the second single from Foncesca’s fourth studio album “Illusion,” which came out in 2011.
“Eres mi Sueño” was co-written by Dominican producer Maffio Alkatracks and features sounds of Caribbean merengue and vallenato accordion.
The video was directed by Paul Garica and shows the singer with his full band performing the song live on a dark set in Bogota.
Foncesca’s latest release was an immediate hit in Colombia and has maintained its position in the top three slots of radio charts for 30 consecutive weeks, according to Radio Santa Fe.
The rest of Latin America has also fallen head over heels for the song, as it currently holds a spot on the Top 10 list in Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador and Argentina among others.
Fonseca recently won two awards of seven nominations at Colombia’s Our Lands Music Awards in the categories of Best Pop or Tropical Interpretation of the Year and Best Pop or Tropical Group Single of the Year.
