Colombia wins 4th gold in PanAm games

The Colombian cycling team on Monday won its fourth gold medal in the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Cyclists Weimar Roldan, Arles Castro, Juan Esteban Arango, and Edwin Avila of the Colombian team beat out the Chilean team in pursuit of the gold in the 4,000 meter event.

The cyclists also set a new Pan American record that day at 3 minutes 59 seconds and 236 milliseconds.

The other gold medals for Colombia went to Leonardo Paez for cross country, and Maria Luisa Calle and Marlon Perez in the road cycling events.
