Colombia to extradite 9 nationals to different countries

Colombia News - extraditedColombia authorized the extradition of nine suspected drug traffickers wanted in Spain, the United States, Peru and Holland, weekly La Semana reported Friday.

Authorities will extradite Oscar Fernando Cuevas Cepeda to Madrid, where he is wanted for allegedly laundering money for the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia FARC.

Cuevas Cepeda was under the direction of deceased FARC commander “Mono Jojoy,” and was known to attend social events with Latin American leaders including the presidents of Colombia, Argentina and Venezuela, reported El Espectador.

Six Colombian nationals will be handed over to US authorities while courts in Holland and Peru will each receive one suspected narco-trafficker.
