Colombia coach Hernan Dario Gomez on Friday called up only two non-Colombia-based players for Wednesday’s friendly against Peru.
Forwards Giovanni Moreno and Jackson Martinez were the only foreign-based players. Moreno plays for Argentine club Racing and Martinez is with Mexico’s Jaguares.
The match will be preparation for next year’s Copa America as Gomez looks for local talent to add to Colombian players playing abroad. The match will be played in El Campin stadium in Bogota. (AP)
