Colombia back in top four of FIFA soccer rankings heading into Brazil 2014

Thanks to a disastrous run by South American rivals Argentina, Colombia has now reached third place in the FIFA world rankings heading into the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Caracol Radio reported Thursday morning that Colombia and Uruguay both benefited from Argentina’s plummet to sixth place.

Colombia’s team occupied third place in the FIFA rankings in July 2013, but fell to fifth after a 2-0 defeat away to Uruguay in September.
