Colombian soap star Robinson Diaz broke off his steamy affair with co-star and bombshell Sara Corrales to get back with his slightly less attractive wife, local media reported on Monday.
The affair between two of Colombia’s biggest celebrities began on the set of “Neighbors” in 2009 and sparked a media frenzy in a country where family values are of the utmost importance. Indeed, a tearful Corrales apologized to the listeners for the affair during a radio interview, citing her inability to surpress spicy feelings for Diaz.

Diaz’s wife reportedly welcomed him back with little delay. According to newspaper El Espectador, Diaz will formally apologize to his fans for “the slip of passion” and the “bad example” it set in an interview later this week.
