Colombia news - chocquibtown and la 33

Colombian artists ChocQuibTown will rock out at the party of the year to celebrate the 10th birthday of the Bogota salsa orchestra La 33, hosted by Shock magazine.

ChocQuibTown and La 33 are two of Colombia’s most exciting bands and have both achieved international success. Latin Grammy Award winning trio ChocQuibTown recently released the first single “Tu Cancion” from their new album “Eso es lo que hay,” which will be released later this year.

La 33 recently returned from the Middle East where they performed at the Womad festival in Abu Dhabi. Their latest singles “Roxanne” and “Ponlo a sonar” are enjoying rave success.

The party will be held at the Royal Center theater in Bogota on May 27. Tickets start at $45 (COP80,000).
