Grammy award winning artist, Carlos Vives, once again reached number one on music charts.
Vives’ second single from “Deep Heart”, “Como le Gusta a tu Cuerpo” (“As Your Body Likes It”), which debuted exclusively on Univision Radio in late January, shot to the fifth spot on Billboard Latin Airplay charts and skyrocketed to the number one spot in Colombia. The song has remained on the radio and on the top of Colombia’s music charts for two consecutive weeks now.
“Deep Heart” reportedly goes on sale April 23, and is said to be the most anticipated album of the year.
Currently it’s the most downloaded song in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, Guatemala, Panama, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic. His success isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
February 21, marks the 25th Anniversary Edition of Univsion’s “Premio Lo Nuestro.” Live from Miami, the show is said to be excited to welcome Vives as he returns to “Premio” after 10 years of absence. Winner of five “Premio Lo Nuestro” awards, he will perform his first single off “Deep Heart,” “Volvi a Nacer” which also did extremely well on the charts.
