by Mary Cecelia Bittner February 28, 2012

Colombia News - Culture Cali

Cali shows the world what it has to offer with its 2012 Cultural Agenda.

Cali’s Ministry of Culture worked together with the city’s various institutions and community leaders to compile a program listing over 300 events, live art demonstrations, activites, and exhibits that will feature the city’s cultural treasures throughout year.

A new agenda will be published every four months and is being distributed in calendar form at tourist information points, the airport, the bus terminal, and at various locations involved with the hospitality and restaurant industries. It can also be found on the the Ministry of Culture’s website.

The agenda includes events like the Mercedes Montano festival, the Petronio Alvarez festival, the Film and Golden Years festival, the World of Salsa festival, the Cali Fair, Holy Week, a jazz festival, the Pacific Book Fair, a music festival, and much more.
