Bogota to appear on the Golf Channel

Colombia’s capital city will appear on a Golf Channel series about the country.

The five part special covers various Bogota locals involved in Colombia’s golf scene.

Bogota is the fourth city to be featured in the series which has already reported on Cartagena, Bucaramanga, and the Coffee Triangle. Colombia’s second largest city, Medellin, will appear last in the series.

In an email sent to Colombia Reports, the Golf Channel said the show highlights “the major golf courses of Bogota, many of which were built by internationally renowned course designers like Robert Trent Jones, Gary Player, and Mark Mahannah.”

With international players in mind, the program will also include information on the Colombian capital’s hotels and restruants.

The show airs May 6 at 8:30 PM in Colombia and will be repeated on the 8, 13, 19, and 27 of May.
