Blonde replaces brunette on breakfast-time TV

by Joey O'Gorman October 3, 2012

Colombia news - Sara Uribe

Sara Uribe, recent winner of Colombian reality show Protagonistas, will now get to host breakfast-time TV on the RCN channel in place of Laura Acuña, who is moving on to reality TV.

Little did the blonde protagonista know that after months of battling against fellow D-listers to win what was assumed to be a role in one of RCN’s many soap operas, she would finish up with horoscope readers and ex-priests, talking about soap operas instead of acting in them.

Uribe is replacing brunette Laura Acuña on the morning show “Muy Buenos Dias,” while Acuña is escaping the early morning mix of gossip and fortune-telling for a show where half the contestants live in the future and half in the past.

The change for breakfast-time TV viewers is unlikely to be too upsetting as there is an uncanny likeness between the two women, apart from their hair color.

The host of the show, Jota Mario Valencia, is reportedly one of the most pleased about the new introduction to his team, indicating that perhaps he prefers blondes.
