The coordinates specifying the pickup point for the three members of Colombia’s security forces kidnapped by the country’s largest guerrilla group, the FARC, were reportedly received on Tuesday.

The leader of Colombians for Peace, former senator Piedad Cordoba, confirmed via Twitter that the exact coordinates had been received.

“With happiness I can inform (you all) that the coordinates have arrived.  I have communicated this to the deputy minister of defense [Jorge Enrique Bedoya].  We are now ready to commence the liberation [of the kidnap victims],” tweeted Cordoba.

Cordoba then followed this tweet with another that said she would be meeting with the Red Cross at 2PM on Tuesday to discuss the next stage in the process.
