World-famous DJ Armin Van Buuren to play in Bogota, Medellin

by Başak Çopuroğlu January 20, 2012

Colombia Events - Armin Van Buuren

World-famous DJ Armin Van Buuren will perform in Bogota and Medellin during his 2012 world tour.

The Dutch trance producer and DJ — the only person to be voted DJ Magazine’s most popular DJ four years in a row – has performed in the country several times before to sell-out shows.

Buuren is considered one of the best in the genre. His weekly radio program, A State of Trance, claims to have more than 26 million listeners globally, which would make it one of the most listened-to shows in the world.

The Colombia shows will take place on February 10 in the Navy Auditorium, Bogota, and on February 11 in Plaza Mayor, Medellin. Confirmed support acts for the events include Sunnery James, Ryan Marciano, Johnny House-IN and Alexa.

Colombian event promoter Royal House Society are hosting the electronic music artist, following succesful concerts with DJ Tiesto and American rapper Pitbull last year.

More information and tickets can be found on Entradas Conciertos.
