Colombia News

Colombia’s air traffic increased by 10.5% in the first six months of 2012 to 11 million passengers, the country’s aviation authority said Friday.

In June alone, passenger numbers rose by 14.1%, according to a report by Aerocivil.

National flights increased by 10.3% while international routes, flights from and to Colombia, rose by 10.9%.

In July, Aerocivil approved new international and national routes to make Colombian airlines even more competitive.
