Colombian actor Rafael Novoa will not appear in the third season of the popular TV series “A corazon abierto,” celebrity newsite lafiscalia.com reported Wednesday.

Instead of joining the hospital series‘ third year, Novoa will be traveling to Miami with his fiancee, former beauty queen Adriana Tarud, to participate in a joint production between Colombian television station RCN and U.S. Spanish-language station Televisa.

The actor also said that, contrary to certain media reports, there is still no date set for his wedding with Tarud.

“There never has been… the reporters invented it,” said Novoa.
