The Colombian bombshell Sofia Vergara turned heads at the Emmy Awards on Sunday night when her dress split open revealing her famous curves.

The fashion emergency of the famed actress occurred just minutes before Vergara and the rest of the “Modern Family” television cast took to the stage to accept their award for “Outstanding Comedy Series.”
Vergara reportedly had to run backstage with her fiance’s jacket wrapped around her waist. The 40-year-old Colombian icon later shared pictures of her wardrobe malfunction via her Twitter page, showing the busted back zipper of her gown designed by Zuhair Murad.

On the same night, the Barranquilla-born star lost the prize of “Best Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series” to “Modern Family” co-star Julie Bowen, who walked away with the award for the second year in a row.
The loss apparently did not dampen the vivacious actress’ mood – at about 1AM she and her entourage made their way to the after party where she proceeded to show off her best dance moves center stage.

Not averse to the attention, Vergara recently posed for GQ Mexico’s latest issue, showing off her nipples through a sheer white top.
