An explosion Wednesday night left two villages in southern Colombia without electricity, reported local media.
Two municipalities in Caqueta were affected by an explosion that occurred in an electrical substation.
Local media claim the two villages have roughly 40,000 residents between them. Allegedly there have been no reported injuries or deaths, though many have been affected.
Approximately 165 feet of detonation cable was found in the proximity of the explosion zone. Authorities are investigating whether or not the explosion was an accident or if it was caused by actions of the FARC or ELN.
