Multiple award-winning Colombian reggaeton king, J Balvin, has released his latest music video for his new single, “Como un Animal” (Like an Animal.)
The video is just what you would expect — fly suits, hot cars, gorgeous women, banging booties and a late night disco party, fitting with Balvin’s self-proclaimed image as the Jay Z of reggaeton.
J. Balvin is a Medellin native and one of the most important reggaeton artists in Colombia. His popularity continues to spread like wildfire through South America.
The video was filmed on the streets of Bogota under the direction of Solomon Simhon with a guest appearance by Colombian model and actress Norma Nivia.
When asked last year what he wants to convey with his lyrics, Balvin replied “Reality. I’m not a saint, I am a young man like anyone else who falls in and out of love and wants to have fun. We’re not going to discotecas to pray.”
