January 6 will see Cartagena host its first musical extravaganza of the year, with an array of Latin America’s finest musicians.
Dominican Republic singing sensation Juan Luis Guerra, Puerto Rico`s “King of Regaetton” Don Omar, and Colombian vallenato stars Pipe Pelaez and Peter Manjarres will play in Cartagena’s 11th of November baseball stadium.
In an added twist, the concert will also feature reincarnations of Latino stars Rafael Orozco, Nino Bravo, Marc Anthony and Ruben Blades. The impersonators are the four finalists from hugely popular Colombian reality show “My name is” (“Yo me llamo”), in which contestants battle it out X-Factor style as their favourite musical stars.
Promoters promise a night of “flavor and Caribbean magic” in the beautiful historical coastal town.
Tickets start at COP50,000 or $26 and are available to buy online.
