Miyavi, Japan’s one and only Samurai Guitarist, included Bogota in his “What’s My Name?” 2011 World Tour.
The artist’s “visual kei” performance – a blend of glam rock, punk and metal with a uniquely Japanese aesthetic twist emphasizing androgyny – is arguably cutting edge, and certainly gaining worldwide popularity.
But the show isn’t all about experimentation; Osaka-born Miyavi is known for his exceptional skill on the electric guitar.
