Colombian star Sofia Vergara will present at the prestigious Emmy awards, in addition to being nominated for her role in the TV show “Modern Family.”
The nominations were announced in July but show organizers dished details Tuesday on the 63rd annual Emmy Primetime Awards. Saucy Ms. Vergara will be a presenter of the awards, as well as famous celebs like Ashton Kutcher, Will Arnett, and Amy Poehler. However, it is not yet known which prizes they will be handing out.
Vergara’s nomination for “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series” marks her second Emmy nomination for her performance on ABC Channel’s show “Modern Family”. In the show Vergara plays Gloria Delgado-Pritchet, a Colombian woman married to an older man.
The Emmys celebrate the best in American television and will be held on September 18 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
