Colombian soccer star Radamel Falcao was presented with an award commemorating his record breaking season at the draw for this year’s UEFA Europa League.
Falcao scored 17 goals for Porto in last year’s competition, including the only goal of the final. The record was previously held by Jurgen Klinsmann, who scored 15 goals for Bayern Munich in 1995-96.
The president of UEFA, Michelle Platini, presented Falcao with the award at a ceremony in Monaco ahead of the European Super Cup, between Europa League winners Porto and Champions League winners Barcelona.
