Colombian international attacking midfielder Giovanni Moreno has been ruled out for six months with a ruptured cruciate ligament, his Argentinian club Racing Club confirmed on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old, who joined the club last July from Colombian club Atletico Nacional, will undergo surgery and will miss the Copa America in Argentina from July 1-24.
